  Not as good as a real John Lewis. Very limited range. Normally John Lewis staff have a naturally helpful attitude - it doesn't seem forced or pushy, they just take you seriously as a customer. My impression in the Chester store has so far always been that staff are more comparable to the other shops in the retail park - the experience is more akin to Carpetright than to John Lewis. The cafe has always been very slow, with many uncleared desks, even when there were hardly any customers around - again, quite unlike my experience in other John Lewis stores. Chester really should get a proper John Lewis is the city centre!
